2020 Event Cancelled

It’s now official and not surprising but is still exceptionally difficult to accept and announce given its stature and importance to so many - independent artists and musicians, culinary creators, community organizations, sponsors, suppliers and festival fans everywhere.

We’re heartbroken and sorry beyond words to confirm the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival will not take place this year.

We’ve been holding out hope the COVID situation would improve but it has become clear there is not a realistic path forward for this year’s festival due to the uncertainty we face as well as the government-issued guidelines prohibiting large public gatherings for the foreseeable future.

We deeply regret the absence of the festival; however the safety and well-being of our attendees, participants, volunteers and all involved are paramount.

We’re forever grateful for the incredible public support of the festival over these many years and it brings tears to our eyes to have to share this unfortunate news.

It’s been a most challenging year for all but we forge on with resilience and great optimism for the future. Let’s do it again, make it the best ever next year, September 11-12, 2021!

Media contacts should be made through the Miramar Events festival media relations office/Tim Beeman at 650-726-3491 or Peter Katz, CEO of the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce 650-968-8378.
